July 3, 2006

NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) legends BLITZKRIEG have been confirmed for the Dokk 'Em open air festival, set to take place August 12 at Raard (by Dokkum) in Holland. Also scheduled to appear are headliners PRIMAL FEAR alongside TRAIL OF TEARS, WIZARD, AUTUMN, THANATOS, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, XYSTUS and GREYLINE. More information is available at www.dokk-em.com.

BLITZKRIEG's most recent album, "Sins and Greed", was released in July 2005 via Metal Nation Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Absolute Power" was recorded at Trinity Heights Studios in Newcastle Upon Tyne (U.K.) and features bass player Paul Brewis, who replaced Andy Galloway in early 2004. In addition, the CD marks Ken Johnson's first studio album following his performance on "Absolutely Live".
